The challenge
The vending at Rhodaus Court wasn't working. The machines relied on an unreliable 4G connection, which made them hard to manage and keep stocked. They looked dated, with a retro design that didn't suit the modern space. They were also noisy, gave off a lot of heat and were expensive to run.
What we did
We replaced them with our own machines, set up for the building:
- Telematics software so we can manage every machine remotely and restock before anything runs out
- Digital displays that show products clearly, and a multi-buy basket so people can grab several items in one go
- Custom wraps designed to sit naturally in the modern workspace
We also engineered one of our compact lifestyle machines into a small alcove that had never been used, turning dead space into somewhere people can pick up everyday essentials such as phone chargers.
The result
The connectivity, noise, heat and energy problems are gone. The new machines run quietly and efficiently, and the area around them has become a social hub where people meet, work and grab something to eat or drink.
